When it came to eyewear, Oliver Goldsmith was synonymous with stars and style. Grace Kelly, Peter Sellers, John Lennon, Michael Caine, Audrey Hepburn and Diana, The Princess of Wales all have one thing in common - Oliver Goldsmith.

The most famous name in British optical design was founded in 1926 when Philip Oliver Goldsmith made frames by hand from a single piece of tortoiseshell. His son entered the family business soon after and recognised the potential of spectacle frames as fashion accessories. In 1959, the third generation, Oliver Goldsmith, entered the company.

The original and genuine Oliver Goldsmith retro eyewear are re-produced from samples that have been archived from the past, so all the features and finish have been incorporated into the collection that is now being offered in the 21st Century. The reputation for quality, elegance and comfort stands behind every frame.
